We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your hospitality when we stayed with you. I don’t think that we have ever been treated so well and our time at The Colonial was without doubt the highlight of our South African holiday. The game drive that Conor took us on was fantastic. The knowledge and insight that he offered was unrivalled and made for a thoroughly unforgettable experience. Finally I would like to say what a wonderful dinner you gave us and such superb breakfasts…we were treated like royalty.

For us the stay at The Colonial was a very nice closure of our trip. Staying with you felt more like staying with friends than with a professional host. We felt completely at home. Your place is a little piece of heaven……sitting in the garden reading a book, with the sweet scent of the orange blossom in the air. Your rooms are beautiful and the game drive with Conor to the Addo Park was one of the highlights of our trip. He enjoys nature and animals so much.

The Colonial was our last stop in our South African tour and undoubtedly the most enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing…truly therapeutic and enhanced by your wonderful garden full of roses. Molly’s cuisine and Conor’s tour of Addo were both perfect.
